A BITTER SWEET NOTE

“To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under Heaven…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV)

At the beginning of August, Woodstock, my faithful Yellow Labrador guide dog (depicted on this site) ended his working career due to medical issues. This decision (although a wrenching one for me) was necessary for Woody’s well-being and he is now enjoying retirement with a loving family in New York state.

On October 17 I return to Guiding Eyes for the Blind to be partnered with a new guide dog. I covet your prayers as I embrace this new season.
