Letter of Introduction

My name is Tina Luce, and since 1997 I have served as worship leader at the Wesley UMC in Salem, MA. I’ve also taught classroom music, and have worked as a music therapist. I have been totally blind from birth, but many of these facts can be obtained from biographical information.

However, I'm not here to talk to you about my credentials, because the truth is that I have none apart from the bedrock of the Word of God on which I stand. I am so amazed by the continual creativity of our God, as He shows His faithfulness time and again. It doesn’t matter to Him whether I'm ministering at a ladies conference, a retreat, teaching at a worship seminar or speaking to a school full of students who are hungry to know His heart.
The Lord is faithful to meet people where they are, touch their brokenness and speak His love and grace into their hearts. As for me, I'm just the one whose job it is to get out of the way and watch it happen. Our God gets all the glory!

Some of you may still be wondering, “What is it that you do, exactly?” You're not alone. I wonder that myself, and I often ponder the question in my many dialogues with Papa. Perhaps a better question might be what is it that you don’t do? I don’t have all the right moves, the glitz or the glamour. I don’t have the name, the big-time press agent or the tour band.
I do however, possess a passion to worship God and to usher others into His manifest Presence. I have a heart for the brokenness in the Church, particularly within its leadership. I yearn to break open that alabaster jar of my soul and pour it out as a love offering over the feet of my Lord Jesus Christ, in song, in words that hit the mark, in my story and those of others.
If any of this resonates with your spirit and you'd like to schedule a concert, retreat or another worship event, please feel free to contact me. Until then, may our Lord bless and keep you.

In His Love,

Tina
